Us Giving Richmond Connections (UGRC) is excited to host the 6th annual Black Pride RVA event weekend July 14-16, 2023. 2018 was our inaugural year. We made history by being the first ever Black LGBTQIA+ pride festival in the Commonwealth of Virginia. During the inaugural weekend we touched the lives of hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds. We invite you to be a part of continuing the enthusiasm by becoming a Black Pride RVA sponsor at a level appropriate for your organization.

The mission of UGRC is to improve the health and well-being of BIPOC LGBTQIA+ communities of greater Richmond. We formed as a group of dedicated leaders who saw the need for a coming together of LGBTQIA+ persons of color. During the summer of 2016, these leaders discussed the ways that the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ communities of Greater Richmond could benefit from an event that celebrates our unique experiences. And thus, Black Pride RVA was created.
